CHURROS SPRINKLED WITH TERANA GROUND CINNAMON

Ingredients

    On this World Churro Day, TERANA Ground Cinnamon is the perfect ingredient for your homemade churros.


    - 1 cup of water
    - 1 tablespoon of butter
    - 1/2 teaspoon of salt
    - 1 cup of flour
    - Vegetable oil for frying
    - Sugar for dusting
    - Terana Ground Cinnamon for dusting

Directions:

Prepare the dough:
1. In a pot, bring the water, butter, and salt to a boil.
2. Remove from the heat and add the flour all at once. Mix vigorously with a wooden spoon until you get a homogeneous dough.
3. Let the dough cool slightly.

Form the churros:
1. Put the dough in a piping bag with an open star tip.
2. Squeeze the dough into 4-5 inch-long strips on a tray lined with wax paper.
3. Cut the dough with a knife to form the churros.

Fry the churros:
1. Heat plenty of vegetable oil in a deep pot over medium-high heat.
2. Fry the churros in batches until golden. Drain them on paper towels to remove excess oil.
3. Dust with sugar and TERANA Ground Cinnamon while they are still hot.
