OATMEAL COOKIES WITH SPICES AND NUTS

Ingredients

    🍪 Oatmeal Cookies with Spices and Nuts, a sweet treat for any school day!

    - 1 cup of rolled oats
    - 1/2 cup of whole wheat flour
    - 1/2 teaspoon of TERANA Ground Cinnamon
    - 1/4 teaspoon of TERANA Ground Nutmeg
    - 1/4 teaspoon of TERANA Ground Ginger
    - 1/4 cup of softened butter
    - 1/4 cup of packed light brown sugar
    - 1 egg
    - 1/2 cup of chopped nuts (pecans, almonds, raisins, etc.)

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. In a medium bowl, mix together the oats, whole wheat flour, TERANA Ground Cinnamon, TERANA Ground Nutmeg, and TERANA Ground Ginger.
3. In a separate bowl, cream the softened butter and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.
4. Beat in the egg until well combined.
5. Gradually add the dry mix to the wet mix until the ingredients are roughly combined.
6. Stir in the chopped nuts.
7. Drop rounded tablespoons of the cookie mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
