CHEESE FONDUE WITH TERANA SPICES

Ingredients

This "TERANA Spiced Cheese Fondue" recipe is absolutely delicious and perfect to share with dad on his day.

 

- 14 oz of grated Gruyère cheese

- 7 oz of grated Emmental or Raclette cheese

- 7 oz of dry white wine

- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch

- 1 clove of minced garlic

- 1/2 teaspoon of TERANA Ground Black Pepper

- 1/4 teaspoon of TERANA Ground Nutmeg

- 1 pinch of TERANA Paprika

- 1 pinch of TERANA Minced Chile de Arbol (optional)

- Sliced ​​baguette bread to accompany

Directions:

1. In a small container, mix the cornstarch with a little white wine until completely dissolved.

2. In a medium-sized  saucepan, heat the remaining white wine over medium heat.

3. Add the grated Gruyère and Emmental or Raclette cheese to the heated wine, stirring constantly until the cheese is melted and the mixture is smooth and creamy. Then add the dissolved cornstarch and wine mixture, and continue stirring until the sauce thickens slightly.

4. Season with minced garlic, TERANA Ground Black Pepper, TERANA Ground Nutmeg, TERANA Paprika, and TERANA Minced Chile de Arbol (optional), to taste.

5. Transfer the fondue mixture to a fondue pot or heatproof bowl over a small flame.

6. Serve the fondue hot with sliced ​​baguette bread for dipping.

 

Don't forget to have a cool drink at hand to accompany the fondue!
