MINI CHICKEN TINGA FRIED TACOS WITH CREAM AND FRESH CHEESE

Ingredients

🌮🇲🇽 Mini Chicken Tinga Fried Tacos with Cream and Fresh Cheese

 

For the tinga:

- 1 shredded chicken breast

- 1 small onion, chopped

- 2 garlic cloves, minced

- 2 medium-sized tomatoes, chopped

- 1 chopped adobo chipotle (optional, for a smoky touch)

- 1 can of marinated chipotles (for the sauce)

- 1/2 cup of chicken broth

- TERANA Ground Oregano

- Salt to taste

- TERANA Ground Black Pepper to taste

 

For the tacos:

- Small corn tortillas

- Vegetable oil for frying

 

For your service:

- Sour cream

- Crumbled fresh cheese

- Red onion, chopped

- Fresh cilantro, chopped

Directions:

1. To make the tinga, heat a little oil in a pot and sauté onion and garlic until translucent.

2. Add the shredded chicken and cook for a few minutes.

3. Add the tomatoes, chopped chipotle (if using), chicken broth, salt, TERANA Ground Black Pepper, and TERANA Ground Oregano.

4. Cook over medium heat until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has reduced.

5. To assemble the tacos, fill the small tortillas with the tinga, roll them, and fry them in hot oil until golden brown.

6. To serve, place the fried tacos on a plate, top with sour cream and fresh cheese, and garnish with red onion and fresh chopped cilantro.
