SNAKE-SHAPED BREADSTICKS
Ingredients
🐍 Ready for a snack that will blow your mind? These snake breadsticks are perfect to add a spooky touch to your Halloween party. 🎃
- 1 refrigerated pizza dough
- 1/4 cup of olive oil, for brushing
- 1/2 tablespoon of poppy seeds
- 1 tablespoon of TERANA Sesame Seeds
- 3 black olives
- 12 dried chilies
- Canned tomato soup
Directions:
1. Cut 12 strips of pizza dough and roll them, narrowing one end to create the tail and flattening the other end for the head. Coil each snake around a greased chopstick. Brush with olive oil and sprinkle the body with poppy seeds and the tails with TERANA Sesame Seeds. Cut black olives into small triangles and place two on the head of each snake to make the eyes.
2. Bake on two trays lined with baking paper at 350°F until golden brown, ca. 15 to 18 minutes. Let them cool for 3 minutes before carefully removing the chopsticks.
3. While still hot, use a toothpick to carefully insert a dried chili into the mouth of each snake, to make the tongue. Serve with tomato soup. For an added spine-chilling effect, put the soup in a cauldron-shaped cast iron pot.
